DAGU Groove is the latest creation of Karen's wacky world of music. Loving her loops she has developed a solo show that showcases her original compositions as well as putting unique twists on familiar and not so familiar classics.  The loopers and effects allows her to create danceable grooves and rich textures that can trance you into other worlds.  Using improvisation on voice and other instruments allows the spontaneous creation of music to tell sonic stories is what DAGU Groove is really about.

"Dagu" comes from the Afar's tribe in Africa meaning "Connection is Life". The tribe has an oral based tradition of communication and all will be dropped when a traveller comes with news and stories to share.  

DAGU Groove will sometimes have friends that will add their talents to the groove and with Karen's playful approach to this endeavor you too may DAGU Groove.
